The Tomahawk utilizes Jamztech’s patented polymer system with carbon fiber graphene composite this time to achieve NIJ_STD_0106.01(abv) Level IIIA. Many other examples of comparable industry helmets only test for penetration, the few that do test for backface deformation often only test for 9mm, the Tomahawk is tested to stop all the NIJ-specified threats for IIIA within 22 millimeters of backface deformation (BFD).  Included with the purchase are a 7-pad memory foam system, a dial adjustable suspension system, the lightweight 3-hole Wilcox night vision shroud, and Ops Core ARC rails. An L/XL High Cut Shell weighs 2.1 lbs.
